Is there such a thing as a laptop home business? Are there people who sit around in their pajamas with simple a laptop and maybe a telephone running a business operation from home? I would have to say that yes there are those people who make their income simply using their laptop or desktop computers. In the age that we are in and with technology advancing at the pace that it is I think that it is completely possible for someone to generate a substantial income running a "laptop home business". With the internet and wireless cell phones people are now able to communicate with one another like they never have before. Things just move faster these days. So what kinds of businesses can one run from their laptop? Well I would assume that those who run their business from their laptop conduct most of their business online. They more than likely have some type of web presence and do much of their communication and business via the internet through e-mail, instant messaging, and even internet phone. Most businesses would require some stuff to be conducted out of them home but ultimately if most of your work is done online or can be submitted online via e-mail, I don't see any reason why this type of person would have to go into an office except to meet with clients face to face. If you are have a business where the work can be done mostly at home then you should try to set up your own laptop home business where almost everything is not online. This could free up some time for you and will save you the commute of having to drive into an office everyday. |
